SHOW REVIEW: Mushroomhead

June 8, 2012
Another Hole in the Wall
Steger, IL

The eight man arsenal from Cleveland, Ohio known as Mushroomhead brought their usual surreal, almost theatrical water drums and light show to the South suburbs of Chicago this past Friday. Also headlining the show was Tenafly Viper, and they were supported by local acts such as: Deadlite Redemption, One Steel Wound, Altus, Through Ashes, and The Prep School Tragedy. Mushroomhead has been going strong with their unique sound and live performance for almost twenty years now. Its current members consist of: Jeffrey Nothing (Vocals), Waylon (Vocals), Shmotz (Keyboards), Skinny (Drums), St1tch (Samples & Drums), Church (Guitar), Dr. F (Bass), and Elliot Mapes (Drums). They played hits from all eras of their career including: Bwomp, 12 Hundred, and Come On, to name a few. Even if you may not personally prefer their musical style, we highly recommend checking out one their stunning shows if you can. You certainly will not see something like this elsewhere. Check them out on Facebook for the latest band updates and tour information.
