REVIEW: TragedyOfAHero

Artist: TragedyOfAHero
Genre: Post-Hardcore
Label: Unsigned

TragedyOfAHero is a newly reformed post hardcore band from the far north suburbs of Chicago, specifically Round Lake Beach, IL.  They have been making quite a name for themselves in the short span of eight months that they have been together.  Their one song demo track is titled “You made us, We bury you“.  Don’t be fooled by the 80’s style intro, once the song kicks in the band is full force and the intro is completely forgotten.  The guitar rhythms are constantly changing, leading the songs progression step by step.  The band’s constant breakdowns are very well timed and placed throughout the song.  The artists definitely seem to synchronize together very well with extremely precise timing and rhythms being displayed by all members.  They are heading into the studio this August to record their first ep together.  It is definitely something to keep an eye out for based off of their demo.  Catch them live at Another Hole In The Wall in Steger, IL on July 30, and on the Scream It Like You Mean It Tour at The Rave in Milwaukee, WI on August 4.  Follow the links below to keep up with their current news, upcoming shows, and listen to their demo track.
