Genre: Rock

Label: Cantora Records

Zulu Pearls debut album “No Heroes No Honeymoons” on Cantora Records is a nostalgic breath of fresh air for music lovers who find themselves uninterested in modern rock these days.  Zulu Pearls combines musical influences from genres galore to create their unique and one of a kind musical style.  Zach Van Hoozer is the primary songwriter for the band, and also the only official member.  Zulu Pearls live performances include a variety of musicians from all around the world.  Currently based in Berlin, Germany, Zulu Pearls have certainly proven themselves by prospering within a city dominated by DJ and electronic music.

Unique is definitely an understatement when describing Zulu Pearls and their music.  At times Van Hoozer’s vocals resemble those of David Bowie, yet the music never sticks to one specific genre or sound as a variety of influences are heard throughout.  Catchy guitar hooks with a vintage southern rock tone give the music an upbeat feel to it throughout the entire album. Dabbling in influences from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and beyond, “No Heroes No Honeymoons” proves to be an essential album for any fan of rock music.  Music lovers that are craving something outside of the box will certainly fall in love with Zulu Pearls No Heroes No Honeymoons” as it is a one of a kind compilation of rock music straight from the soul.  Zulu Pearls will be embarking a small East Coast tour this month.  Follow the links below to keep up with their latest news, tour info, and more.
