SHOW REVIEW: The Makena Hartlin Band

The Makena Hartlin Band headlined Another Hole In The Wall’s first country show on Saturday, April 27.  Supporting acts for the night consisted of Andrea Veltri and Bad Caddy who both put on great sets.  After forming in late 2012, The Makena Hartlin Band has been making quite the name for themselves throughout the entire Chicagoland area.  The band’s harmonious blend of soft and at times somber melodies combined with upbeat rhythms and breakdowns provides a fresh dose of pure and original country music.  They have opened for a variety of major country musicians and have plenty more big name acts they will be performing with this summer as well.  The Makena Hartlin Band has acquired quite the following of fans in an extremely short amount of time and plenty of them came out this evening to show their support.

Overall Another Hole In The Wall’s first country show went quite well.  Fans were treated to an evening of diverse country music that certainly created a different atmosphere for the venue.  Patrons of all ages from small children to senior citizens came out to enjoy the night of good old fashioned southern music.  The Makena Hartlin Band was without a doubt the stand out performers of the evening with a solid performance of great music.  All of the other bands put on great sets as well.  Be sure not to miss The Makena Hartlin Band this summer as they will be performing with a variety of big name country acts such as Montgomery Gentry, The Bellamy Brothers, The Charlie Daniels Band, and more.
