To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) has announced that they will be holding a 10 Year Anniversary Event on April 2nd, 2016 in Orlando, FL. Though additional details have yet to be released, the organization invites its friends to “Save The Date” for what promises to be a truly special evening of uplifting evening of music, memories, and more. TWLOHA recently launched a month-long giving campaign that aims to raise $50,000 by the end of December to help TWLOHA share a message of hope with more people than ever before. The “#into16” campaign launched on December 1st and will continue to run until December 31st at midnight EST. To participate, join the conversation using #into16 or donate to the Classy fundraising page.

In a blog post announcing the campaign, TWLOHA listed some ways the organization wanted to broaden its reach in the next year:

We want 2016 to be our biggest year yet. We want to put FIND HELP resources into the hands of 10,000 more people. We want to start a conversation about mental health on the Vans Warped Tour and at more than 100 festivals across North America. We want to help our 70 University Chapters continue to challenge stigma on college campuses.

To Write Love on Her Arms is a nonprofit dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery. Since its start in 2006, TWLOHA has donated over $1.5 million directly into treatment and recovery and answered over 180,000 messages from over 100 countries.

This past September TWLOHA wrapped its 4th annual campaign to honor National Suicide Prevention Week and World Suicide Prevention Day. The organization was overwhelmed by the amount of love and support shown during this year’s campaign, titled “We’ll See You Tomorrow.” Nearly $83K was raised for treatment and counseling, and support was seen from numerous celebrities including actress Jessica Chastain, actor Jared Padalecki, and USA soccer star Alex Morgan. TWLOHA also participated in events in Toronto, Chicago, and Nashville before wrapping up the week in Minneapolis with two final events: one with the Minnesota National Guard and the second featuring a special pop-up shop at the Mall of America.
